Cory Davis, vice president, corporate development, leads Early Warning’s strategic development initiatives. Davis is an industry veteran with over 12 years of experience in corporate finance and M&A with companies in multiple industries.
Davis joined Early Warning’s corporate development team in 2009 and has been instrumental in driving the company’s growth strategy. He played a key role in the company’s acquisitions and strategic partnerships of Austin Logistics, Payfone, Authentify®, and clearXchangeTM. He has also presented on identity proofing issues at The White House, The Department of the Treasury, and at both BITS and NACHA Payments conferences.
Prior to Early Warning, Davis worked in Bank of America’s Strategic Investments Group, which managed a multi-billion dollar portfolio of private equity investments. During this time, he led the execution of over $650 million in investments and sales of companies in multiple industries. Prior to the Strategic Investments Group, he worked in Bank of America’s healthcare investment banking group and participated in the completion of approximately $5 billion in debt and equity financings.
Davis has a bachelor’s degree in economics and public policy studies from Duke University and an M.B.A. from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
